Estimates from accounts we run, rounded down. Your close rate and your market move all three.
How this market buys
Why a roofing company isn't like anything else.
Roofing has the highest ticket value of any trade we work with and the most expensive leads to match. A cost per lead that would be alarming in plumbing is entirely normal here, because one signed job can be worth what dozens of smaller jobs are worth. The arithmetic only breaks if you measure lead cost without measuring close rate.
Almost nobody signs with the first roofer they speak to. Three quotes is the default, which means the job of your marketing is not to close — it is to be one of the three, and then to be the one that felt most trustworthy in the follow-up. Roofing is won in the gap between the inspection and the decision.
Storm work distorts everything. After significant weather the market fills with out-of-area operators, ad costs spike, and homeowners become wary of anyone who turns up unsolicited. Being an established local name is worth more in those weeks than any budget.
Watch this above everything
Cost per signed contract
With a close rate under a third and huge ticket values, cost per lead tells you almost nothing. A $200 lead that signs is far cheaper than a $40 lead that doesn't.
What we'd do
Three things that move the number.
01
Sell the inspection, not the roof
Nobody commits to a five-figure job from an ad. A free, genuinely useful inspection is a small yes that puts you on the roof and in the conversation, which is where the actual selling happens.
02
Build the follow-up, because the decision is slow
Weeks pass between a quote and a signature while the homeowner collects other numbers. Most roofers quote and go quiet. Structured follow-up wins jobs that were already lost on price alone.
03
Lead with local proof
Streets, neighbourhoods, actual houses you have done nearby. After storms especially, being visibly and verifiably local is the difference between a call and suspicion.
The mistake we see most
Panicking at the cost per lead
Roofers see a lead cost several times what they hear other trades quoting and switch the campaign off — without ever working out what a signed roof is worth against it. On the numbers, an expensive roofing lead is usually the cheapest lead on this page.

Padgett Medical Center
Weight loss clinics · Ocala & Tampa, FL
Two clinics with more than 1,500 reviews between them — the kind of reputation that should have been dominating their area. Instead they had a website that barely worked on a phone. Across six months it produced 20 leads between both locations, and not one of them closed.

“I started with Viterium Digital about 2 months ago and the results have been absolutely amazing. They have sent patients into our clinic without any effort at all from us. They were qualified, they came in, they spent money. It's been absolutely excellent. After trying 17 different marketing companies this is the only one that I can honestly say has truly worked — and it has worked so well that we started with them for our second location.”

“Abe is obsessed with good results to a fault. You might get texts really late at night because he works really late, but he has that obsessive personality and I think that's why it works so well. He really cares about his work and prides on putting his name on things.”
