Estimates from accounts we run, rounded down. Your close rate and your market move all three.
How this market buys
Why a med spa isn't like anything else.
Aesthetics is not a need purchase. Nobody has to book Botox this month, which means you are not competing against the other clinic so much as against doing nothing. That single fact should shape everything: urgency, offers and seasonality matter far more here than in a trade where the customer's water heater has already failed.
It is also the most visually comparison-shopped category we work in. People look at your Instagram, your before-and-afters, your premises and your practitioner's credentials before they ever enquire. An ad can win the click and then lose the customer entirely on a thin profile — which makes the content side of this unusually load-bearing.
Retention is where the money is. A first treatment is often close to break-even after acquisition cost; the second and third are where the business is. That justifies spending more to acquire than the first appointment appears to support, provided you actually have a rebooking process.
Watch this above everything
Rebooking rate
Acquisition maths in aesthetics only works if people come back. A clinic with a 60% rebooking rate can outspend one at 25% on every single click and still be more profitable.
What we'd do
Three things that move the number.
01
Sell one entry treatment, not the menu
Clinics list every service and convert on none of them. A single well-priced entry treatment gives the ad something concrete to say and gives the visitor one decision instead of fifteen. Upsell after they are in the chair, not in the ad.
02
Stay inside Meta's health rules deliberately
Aesthetics ads get rejected constantly — implied body criticism, personal attributes, before-and-afters used the wrong way. Writing to the policy from the start avoids the cycle of rejections and restrictions that quietly costs accounts their delivery.
03
Make the profile do its job
Because people check before they book, the Instagram grid and the Google profile are part of the funnel whether you treat them that way or not. Consistent content there raises the conversion rate of ads you have already paid for.
The mistake we see most
Discounting to win the first booking
Heavy introductory discounts attract people who came for the discount and vanish when it ends. You end up with a busy calendar, a poor rebooking rate and the belief that ads brought bad clients. A modest offer to a well-targeted audience beats a deep one to everybody.

Padgett Medical Center
Weight loss clinics · Ocala & Tampa, FL
Two clinics with more than 1,500 reviews between them — the kind of reputation that should have been dominating their area. Instead they had a website that barely worked on a phone. Across six months it produced 20 leads between both locations, and not one of them closed.

“I started with Viterium Digital about 2 months ago and the results have been absolutely amazing. They have sent patients into our clinic without any effort at all from us. They were qualified, they came in, they spent money. It's been absolutely excellent. After trying 17 different marketing companies this is the only one that I can honestly say has truly worked — and it has worked so well that we started with them for our second location.”

“Abe is obsessed with good results to a fault. You might get texts really late at night because he works really late, but he has that obsessive personality and I think that's why it works so well. He really cares about his work and prides on putting his name on things.”
